Day 9

so i know technically its not day nine but its the nineth day that i have worked out with Jillian!  She really is one tough cookie.  Day one was hell....actually it was the following day that i was like whoa!  i thought i was in pretty good shape before but boy was i wrong!  so needless to say some days it is really hard to fight through the pain but i havent missed that many days...havent missed one since sunday so thats gotta be good right!?!?  well on day 5 i decided i should take some measurements to see my progress physically not necessarily on the scale.  i think that so many girls are obsessed with the scale that forget the bigger picture....its not about the number its about how you feel.  so if i gain a few pounds and loose an inch or so...i call that a victory! No matter how you wanna look at it!

so i decided i would measure every 5 days (even though i didnt from the strat) but i decided to see a day early what the progress was.....well since day 5 have i have lost half an inch in what i call the love handle area, half an inch in my behind, and 1/4 of an inch in my chest. but other than that everything has stayed the same.  so for that my hands are up in the air saying VICTORY! ill do better measurements tomorrow...its hard to measure yourself so my good man has to help! 

I am so excited to see some improvements in areas i wanted to really work on so like i said before, Jillian rocks my love handles off!  :)   Happy HUMP day!

Prayers Needed

So my friend is going to a new neurologist tomorrow to try to figure out what is going on wih her.  Well they know the problem but they needed to figure out how to get it under control....so i'm asking you to please say some prayers tonight and tomorrow that they will figure all of this out!  Thanks in advance!

30 day SHRED

So me and Jillian are on day 3, this woman is SERIOUS! She yells at me.  Like Yells!  Let's start at the beginning...i started my diet back in March....i lost the weight i wanted by May.....I have maintained my weight since then...give or take a lb or 2.  The problem is, that i want everything firm and smooth...so I decided that my normal routine of running everyday wasn't doing it anymore....it was helping maintaining but you have  trick your body to get the results you want.  Thats where Jillian Michaels is coming into the picture...she is raw, mean, and just what i need!  I dont want to lose anymore weight because i am ultimately at my goal...but if i lost some more....i wouldnt be complaining :)  So, today was day 3, and i am here to tell you, if you want to hurt and if you want something that i feel will work....try it 30 day SHRED!  Its only 10$ at your local walmart....make the plunge!  Happy almost FRIDAY!

rain rain go away

So most of you guys live in Arkansas, but for those that dont.....its been raining for like what seems to be forever!  this year already we are up 22 inches than last year.  and we are expected to get 3 to 6 more inches in the next few days...well im here to tell you that I swear we got 10 yesterday and today....those meterologist got it all wrong!  Maybe they need to come to South Arkansas and come visit us and then they will know that 3 to 6 is way to little....complete downpour for like 2 hours...that alone could give you 3.....its been this way for aleast 12 hours.  Its the type of weather that just makes you want to cuddle up to the hubby and watch a movie with a hot cup of coffee.  But instead...Im in a cold office staring at the rain coming down outside...wondering if those errands i wanted to run at lunch are really that important...or could they really wait till another day...im opting for the later day.  Happy Tuesday!

Oh So Much FUN!

This past weekend was  great. I woke up early to drive to LR for a day of shopping with my mom.  If you didnt know.....deer season has arrived.....and with that comes less time with Jeremy....so i took advantage!  Mom and I had a blast, we went all over the place to look for things to decorate my house.  Im not the type of person that just buys stuff to buy stuff or hang something on the wall because it needs it!  I have to find exactly or close to what i want!  So needless to say its been taking a while and i still have a ways to go but baby steps!   I did find some great candle holders and 2 paintings for the walls....now if i could just get Jeremy out of the woods to hang them! 

Sunday my sister came over and we got to hang out for a couple of hours before i had to leave.  It was really nice to see her...it never seems long enough though!  Mom cooked an amazing lunch... i have no idea what it is called but boy was it good!

No deer yet but we are crossing our fingers for big horns again this year!  :)

I am so excited that it is friday! This day is probably my favorite day of the week besides hump day! I have this thing with hump day! I love it!! I google imaged hump day...needless to say u dont want to know....unless ur into naked people.....

Haha anyways.....tonight i went to a friends house for a facial party.....which was a mary kay party....which was interesting.....i did enjoy almost an entire bottle of wine by myself......but i did love some of their stuff....ill let u know about them once i have tried them!!

There are only a few that are married and so our lives are just in different directions. I also moved away from everyone so its hard getting yourself grounded in a new area! I am happy that we moved here because we are learning more about each other and we have made so wonderful friends that are very dear to us!

Last night i was watching the vma's and i almost threw up in my mouth when i saw that they brought back that annoying british guy...whatever his name is.....dont know....dont care!

Then i was so proud of taylor for winning her award...when out of no where kanye west gets up there and says "im happy for u taylor but beyonce has the best video ever" wtf....seriously...dont they have security at these things....if it was any other random person they would have never gotten close to the stage!! They need to tighten up on that crap!! But props to beyonce for allowing taylor to finish her speech during her time!

These awards have completely changed from what they use to be....maybe everyone should stop changing things.....

I am really hoping that this weekend is going to be wonderful!  It is suppose to be rainy but i am hoping to get some much needed things done. i really want to clean the house, hang out with kim, and maybe do a little shopping.  i have got to find the perfect dress for my friend melanie's wedding that is in less than a month!  so its crunch time!  Hoping that i can find something here in Camden or El Dorado but i doubt it, so ill probably do the whole online thing. which i hate by the way cause you just never know how something is going to fit and then you have return it and its just annoying but i hate that everytime i go home that i shop so we are gonna give online another try and hope for the best! 

i really want a puppy! a rat terrier to be exact.  My sister has one named Sobe and she is to die for! And since gage is no longer with us becuase her owner came home from iraq i think that Rosco is lonely!  Jeremy is not really on the entire wagon for a puppy! but we are working on it!  :)

They say it comes in threes!

They say that when something goes wrong with something in your house, it happens in 3's. But i really must beg to differ! Dont get me wrong i LOVE my house and everything in it! BUT since moving here we have had a few down falls......

2 weeks after moving in we went on vacation, return from vacation to a water heater needing to be replace (btw you will never be able to tell if it is about to go out, brand new ones do it too), the very next day the commode broke....like jeremy walks into the bathroom, water is EVERWHERE and the tank has cracked! maybe two days later his faucet is leaking!

ok lets fast forward lets say 3 months aka 2 weeks ago, my washer decides it doesnt want to work anymore, thank god for my man who figures out whats wrong and its a 13 dollar part! wipe the forehead because i cant have mismatching washer and dryer and i really want a steam one so he saved us quite a bit cause when it finally goes bye bye thats what im getting! anywho...back to the point, this past weekend i am doing my weekly full house clean and i am cleaning our tv! It was a 60'' panasonic tv...everyone loves it and so did i! well as i am cleaning it, "POP" power off.....omg....the damn thing blew up! I go get Jeremy off his mower and it was made official we had to buy a new TV.

Well here we go off to buy a new one....we pick a 46'' Samsung something or another and its BEAUTIFUL! but lets remind ourselves that our tv was so big that it had its own stand....so we also had to buy a new tv stand.....goodness....it was some day.....but it does look beautiful and fits the space beautifully!

so moral of this story is that life sometimes REALLY doesnt work in your favor and its ALWAYS more than three!

My dear friend Kim has been going through some really tough times here lately, she has had really bad pressure in her brain , excess spinal fluid that had to be removed, taking all kinds of medication, not being able to drink coke, alcohol, or anything that had carbonation, head aches through the roof, not being able to get pregant because of the medication...etc...you get the picture! Its been really rough but today is a wonderful day! She went back to yet another doctors appointment and they said that everything is GONE! Her pressure is normal! She can go from 6 pills a day to 2 pills a day until she goes the the neurologist and then they might cut out all of them!!! I am so excited for her I can hardly stand it! Just had to share the GREAT news!

8 months to go!

So i just noticed down at the very bottom of my blog...the little ticker, indicates 8 months until Jeremy and I's 2 year anniversary! I know 8 months seems like a while a way but, it seems just like yesterday that Jeremy and I were celebrating our 1 year! It is really unreal to see how fast the time flies by!

This past weekend was great! We went to LR for my Dad's Birthday! We got into town Friday and hung out with Jeremy's family. It was good to see them and catch up! Saturday Jeremy went shopping for a new Driver and I went shopping with my mom, got some really cute stuff and actually got to show my sister's condo that she has for sale off of Cantrell. It was so much fun! Crossing our fingers that she sells it! Then it was time for the Birthday Boy's Dinner! We grilled steak and had close friends of our family over and celebrated my Dad! He is such a great father and should be told so much more often! It was a great time! Sunday came way to fast and it was time to head back to camden, but before we could leave we had to celebrate Jeremy's brothers birthday! So we had a birthday lunch and some yummy homemade peach clobber and strawberry cake! It was so delicious!

a little about me!

I have always been a little paranoid...i dont like unfamiliar noises....creepy sounds or situations....i dont like scary movies although i watch them every once in a while! When we bought our house i was SO excited to feel comfortable in my home! we used to live in the middle of nowhere and there were ALWAYS funny noises and i didnt like going outside at night alone! So once we moved in this house i was comfortable and felt so safe! we live in a safe neighborhood and have great protective neighbors! All was great....until yesterday! Jeremy and I were outside, he was practicing his chipping and I was planting some flowers! Then i noticed the screen on our bedroom window was half way hanging on....freaked me out and proceeded to look at other windows and two of the windows in the front were broken...so its a fact , in my mind, that someone has been messin with my stuff....they didnt break any windows but that was enough for me and ADT is coming wednesday and we are going to discuss my Security Needs and it WILL be installed! Thank God! Im hoping that this will help ease my mind that someone besides me will be looking after my home! I said a huge prayer to protect Jeremy and I and that if anything happens, that it would happen during the day and that Rosco would be unharmed! Any prayers for courage and support would be greatly appreciated!

What a beautiful afternoon! After all that rain, it is just breath taking!! Think i might go for a run!! Happy afternoon everyone!!

The Tuesday Blues

Rain rain go away!! Its been raining for what seems days! Its so bad i cant even go anywhere at lunch without getting soaked! What a bummer!

Last night the finale of the bachelorette wasn't as shocking as they tried to make it out to be! The show is really becoming predictable. It would have been way more exciting if she would have picked Reid. But i do have to admit i was a fan of Ed's and was sad to see him go and happy he came back. But in the end i thought he was kinda weird. I mean did u see his short shorts and the 80's tanktop! For real! That was bad!! We shall see if this one lasts! Hope everyone has a good day!!

So its that time of year, our fiscal year is ending at work and boy are tenisons flairing! It all goes to a few blogs back when i talked about people having a bad day, but in this situation replace bad with stressful, and all the same applies!! Its really almost unbearable at times! So im gonna mind my own and get my work done!! Wish me luck

its the weekend wrap up!

This weekend was exciting, got off work early on friday and off to a wedding i go! It was a lot fun, hanging out, laughing , taking pictures, it was just want i needed! after a stressful week at work, there is nothing better than booze and laughter to help ease your mind! :)

saturday came faster than wanted but hey i got to sleep in till 12 (only because Jeremy was still sleeping) and off to El Dorado I go to get a much needed pedicure! Boy was that nice! Lunch at House of Wylie, and back home! Very relaxing and my feet were thanking me as well :) Did some much needed grocery shopping and popped in a movie and in bed by 11. Life was great!

Sunday, my dad calls me at 8:30 to tell me that him and my mom would be there in about an hour! YIKES i say...i really need to clean! So up I jump and the cleaning begins....thank goodness i got it all done and then they were here! it was so good to see them! They are truly a breath of fresh air! They make my heart smile! they visited for a couple of hours and then they were headed back home, sad to see them go but i will see them this weekend! Jeremy cooked fish and we did some much needed relaxing!

16 and preggo

this show on MTV, has got to be the most repulsive show ever, i mean, who would want to show 16 year old girls preggo? If its not scary enough that it happens all the time, but for me to think of when i have kids and my child being 16 and preggo, it just makes me mad. im 25 and am now thinking about it, i couldnt imagine at 16 that happening.....even now it scares me! i really dont know what MTV was thinking. i have watched an epsoide or two and i just dont like! Given they show how hard it is on you as a teen but in the end everything is ok! i just dont think that MTV is doing a very good job and showing 16 year olds what they should be doing...what happened to cheering, movies, and holding hands? GOSH

marriage.

you know, im not an expert at this thing people call marriage, we fight, we bicker, we laugh, and we love! everyone always asks "how's it being married" like being married is different. its like holly cow, i have a ring on and now everything is different, not so much! Marriage is hard, its great, its trying at times, and its easy at others. So what is the best answer for this question? i dont think there is one! i mean come on, Jeremy and I have been together for almost 5 years, the "honeymoon" stage was over a long time ago.

Now let me be the first to say that my marriage is no where close to perfect. i love the boy, and i know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my man loves me as well. But there are days that we get on each others nerves and want space. But that is OK! we are normal people, living a normal life. Could you even imagine a perfect life....how boring! I have found that after a while you kinda just look past somethings and pick your battles, because at the end of the day, they are the ones that you go home to! They are the ones that lift you up when you are down!

So here is to an un-perfect life! Isn't it great! :)

Happy 4th of July!

This weekend was so relaxing and fun! I wish every visit to Little Rock was like this past weekend! Most of the time when we come home we are stretched pretty thin, but not this weekend! We got into town thursday night and well not much happened that night but friday Jeremy went to play Golf and I went furniture shopping! Oh yes, i am so excited cause i found us a Bedroom Suite that is so pretty if i must say so myself! I will post pictures once it comes in! Friday night we went to hang out with our friend Becca and Kyle, we cooked out , laughed and had a good ol time, that was until i came down with a little bug! My throat started to hurt and i couldnt breathe out of my nose! So my wonderful husband took me home and off to bed we went! Saturday was the 4th and my mothers SURPRISE birthday party! She made sure that she was out of town for her 50th birthday party, but this year we put one past her! We were already having a get together at my Aunts for the 4th, so we just decided to celebrate her birthday at the same time! So all this time she thinks its just for the fourth until, she gets there and we have everything all decorated all cute and got her a blow up walker! haha it was so funny, when we all went HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Oh you should have seen her face! PRICELESS!!
Saturday night we went to my sisters house and hung out with them. We went to the country club to watch the fireworks! They were so pretty!! Sunday we came back to Camden pretty early and were lazy all day! It was such a good weekend! Hope everyone had a Great one!

Last night i had such a good night! I had one of the best workouts I've had in a long time, watched my favorite show at the moment , so you think you can dance, ate some delicious dinner,did some much needed laundry,packed for this weekend in LR (which im pretty excited about) and off to bed! Very simple relaxing and great! If only evry night was that way!

Something i just dont understand, is why is it when someone is in a bad mood, must they take it out on everyone else! I mean i get it, your having a bad day, but i dont want to have a bad day with you and especially because of you!! Normally when i have a bad day/ im upset with you, i keep to myself. And when i need/have to talk to you, im at least nice!

Last time i checked it came on a bright green piece of paper....and it read: BE NICE :)

I thinlk jillan is completely retarded for keeping wes, but so smart for returning ed! Im just hoping that she is only keeping wes to make her decision easier!! Ed is a doll, a stuipd doll for leaving in the first place, but still a doll!!

It is such a beautiful day! I look out my window at work and just want to be outside! I know its like 95 degrees but i cant help it! Im probably going to go to a park or something. Gay i know but getting out of the office for a little while clears my head and i really could use some clarity! Hope everyone gets out for a little while and sees what a beautiful day God has given us!

So , my mother a couple of weeks ago gave me this wonderful little shelf thing, and i didnt know exactly what i was gonna do with it! We would always talk about things that i wanted to do to the house , ect and she would call me and tell me something else she has bought for me, that i probably mentioned that i wanted like 4 months ago, then i would most likely go home and see it and it not be exactly what i wanted. Well this was one of those items. We needed an external pantry and this is what she buys,but it turned out that i bought another pantry and i needed to find something to do with this thing. So i spray painted it black and bought some flowers and pots, and this is what it is!
Kim picked out my cute little frog lady! She is wearing an apron.....she HOTT!

Its the first step to becoming a green thumb! I cant cook very well yet so maybe my calling is flowers! we shall see how it goes in the next couple of weeks! Wish me Luck

Happy Anniversary

PRODUCT REVIEW

ATTENTION- PRODUCT REVIEW:
ok so its been over a year since Jeremy and I walked down the isle and we still are using new presents that we recieved! Well this one, by the way, is probably the worse invention EVER, it really is! The other night i was chopping up a red onion and decided to use this niffty little thing....never again...i might even throw it away! the onion was all stuck up in the top of it and the only way to get the little bitty pieces out was to get a knife and the water sprayer and try to get the little pieces out! it took longer to clean that it probably would have to just have chopped the onion up in the first place! So if you looking for a quick way to chop anything up .... dont use this! I promise you will be unhappy at the end of it all!

Feelin HOT HOT HOT

So I have been running outside everyday when i get off of work.....i should say jog.....but thats not the point, the point is that it hot outside....and when i say hot i mean HOTT!!! yesterday i got in my car and it read 104 degrees....SERIOUSLY!! someone should invent outdoor ac....thats right....maybe something that is around your neck and constantly blows....that would be cool! so much for wishful thinking! While i was jogging yesterday i had a thought...these happen quite often.....it would be so nice to have those people(the ones that are at marathons) that hand out little glasses of water....those people would have been great yesterday! Im taking any volunteers!

IDIOTS...I TELL YA!!

I'm gonna go on a little rave real quick......

I really think that people are ate up with the DA.......my wonderful tv/phone/internet people are seriously about to craw on top of my last nerve. how is it, that its my fault that they didnt get some sort of service agreement whenever i signed that stupid thing and put it in the mail and now they want to say they never got it and charge me like 100 more than my original bill......doesnt make a bit of sense to me! someone enlighten me.........please

*WEEKEND WRAP UP*

This weekend was great! Friday i got to hang out with my girl Kim....it had been to long!! Funny thing that happened that night: I like to think of myself as a "handy woman" when it comes to "man tools".... so picture this....im about to hang up my curtain rods in my bedroom, im standing on a chair, look at kim and say "man i just love man tools" and then proceed to literally drop the screws like 20 times....damn thing wouldnt go into the wall.....kim is sitting there laughing at me cause i obiviously COULD NOT make those screws go in for the life of me! But 30 minutes later boths rods were up and even.....thank you very much!! side note: i really am good with man tools...i was just having an off day! :)



saturday was cleaning day....my house with many guests that have come over the past two weeks has needed a cleaning...so thats what i did for about 4 hours....i took my time and by the end of the day my house was smelling of lysol and goodness! i literally buy cleaning products....strickly by the way they smell!!



Sunday was movie day! we watched the following: 1. wrestler....dont recommend it....it was kinda slow. 2. step brothers: i washed my car while this one was on 3. 7 pounds : was so great! made me cry, but hey everything makes me cry nowadays! 4. taken: this movie was GREAT, action packed and very entertaining!! i was suggested #3 & 4!!!

Normally im the one that will print of pictures for them to color, or just chase them around the office, but since we are crazy busy right now, none of that is happening and if it does, its not for very long! i feel kinda bad for them though! i mean if i had to sit at my parents office all day i would die and im 24!! but there is hope.....there is this great website called y8.com that has a lot of silly little games for them to play and that happens to entertain them for say 4 hours....idk how or why but thank you whoever invited that one!!

kim, you have GOT to get better, SERIOUSLY!!!! if i have to go to that doctors office with you and cuss someone out....i will!! much love though!! MISS YOU!!!

Memorial Day Weekend!

Well this weekend, I am expecting , will be great!! Not only is it an extended weekend but its my hubby's 26th birthday, (He is getting up there), and our dear friend is arriving home from iraq on sunday!! its going to be a wonderful weekend!! I could really use an extra day off from work so this is coming right in time!!

VACATION

Saturday May 2 - leave for a much needed vacation with my wonderful family....oh the beach just calms me! Went to AJ's drank some Margarita's and ate some wonderful dinner!



Sunday May 3 - lay on the beach all day and get some much needed rays!!



Monday May 4 - went shopping with some wonderful women in my family and got some much needed clothes and KIMS BIRTHDAY!!!! sorry i was away to miss it.....but we will celebrate!!!



Tuesday May 5 - went deep sea fishing - time of my life.... besides getting a little nausea....it was great!! We caught HUGE fish and had a wonderful time



Wednesday May 6- Friday May 8: Just got some more rays, played baggo, hung out with the family...and ate at some great restaurants!!! Went crab hunting a few nights....love it



Saturday May 9 - get back into the truck for a 9 hrs drive back!!!! Man it can really wear you out!

This past week has be so crazy...we get back from vacation to us having to replace a water heater and a commode....the joys of owning a home!! Kim and Todd our good friends came over Sunday to look at pictures and visit during the rain! It was so good to see them and catch up on all the gossip of the week! haha j/k!

So i just got done watching the finale to private practice and i have never watched something so awful,worst ending,so sad, and biggest cliff hanger in my life!! Im so serious!! I dont ever want what happened to ever happen in real life!! But the sad thing is, is tha im afraid that it does!!

So i have come to the realization that people are shady.....i like to give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes......but i think from now on i will just assume that you are lying and then when i find out that you are then there will be NO SURPRISE. The bad part about it is, people are shady for no reason: your not getting ahead, your not helping yourself, nor helping anyone else, just being shady to be shady! And that is STUPID!!! ugh.........

Happy Anniversary!!

HOLY COW....this past year has flown by....I cant believe that its already been a year!! This weekend we moved into our new home!! HOORAY!! So needless to say Jeremy and I didnt really celebrate yet! We both were extremely exhausted from the busy weekend to do anything....so i prepared fajitas and we ate dinner and relaxed! It was really nice to just spend sometime together and think about the past year!

Smart ass moment of the day: We were on our way to the old house to pick up a few last things and I looked at Jeremy and asked him if he could believe it had already been a year...his response...."it feels like its been forever"...i call him an ass and we smile!!! Gotta love his smartassness!! if thats even a word

Greatest moment of the day: Waking up to Jeremy telling me "Happy Anniversary" with the sweetest card!

Best moment of the day: Eating the top of my cake!!!! it was just as delicious as i remember!! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!

Sweetest moment of the day: I sent our wonderful, precious, lovable dog Rosco to make puppies this weekend so i got to go pick him up yesterday and the entire way home he laid in my lap and slept....it was a long weekend im guessing! And by the way he weights 60lbs....but i love every inch!!! :)

So Hooray for our first year!! Cant wait to see what the next year brings!!!

BUSY BUSY WEEKEND AHEAD

well the countdown is over.....tomorrow is the BIG day....closing day!! I am so excited and nervous all at the same time!! Tonight is going to be a LOOOONG night.....we still so much to pack and get organized! I have to work tomorrow so ill be closing and then going to work and Jeremy , friends, and family will be responsible for packing up my world!! Scary but i trust them....Jeremy has strict instructions on which boxes NOT to move....some things are WAY to breakable for him to move(not that i dont trust him....but its stuff that i would be really upset if i lost and really hard to replace) and not to mention that it is the reason that i painted my house the colors that i did....without it.....no one would get it! So im going to move it myself!!! Hopefully i will get good rest tonight and not wear my hands out..... gotta have those tomorrow!!

Wonderful Weekend!!

This weekend my mother came down to help out at the new house! The house had the same color throughout the entire house so we decided that we would spice it up a bit!!! And it looks great!! Kim came over and helped so much! THANK YOU!! Big tasks like that dont seem so bad when you have people around you that make you laugh! :) After a long weekend of nothing but hard work....everything is coming along just nicely! We close this friday and our One YEAR Anniversary is Sunday!! I cant believe how time has just flown by! I cant think of a better anniversary gift to give each other than a house! We are way blessed!!

I love this show, i really do , my wonderful husband Jeremy plays the guitar and sings, and this is probably one of two shows that he will watch with me...so for that fact...i love it!! But this new judge Kara is awful! i dont like her.....even the way she talks gets on my nerves! which brings me to another point....why in the world is Scott still here?? I get the sympathy thing...but that should have gone out the window 2 weeks ago...in fact, he probably should have never made it to the top 13. if i can be frank! its completely obivious that the boy cant sing.....point blank....so this week i am really hoping that he goes home! Just like last week and the week before and the week before...so on and so forth! I was just thinking about last nights show and thought i would blog a little.....things are slowing down at work so its always at the end of the day that i blog!!

Tomorrow is my wonderful dentist appointment....you have no idea how much i am dreading it! Wish me luck!!

dentist update

well the dentist called me yesterday around 1:30...2 hours before my appointment to tell me that my appointment needed to be reschedule do to the fact that the dentist wants to re-do my filling...they must think that i can leave work drive 45 minutes for them to work on my mouth any damn time they want me to!!! I was extremely irriated....but rescheduled my appointment yet again and its for thursday at 8 am...just what i wanna do bright and early in the morning :)

The Dentist

so about a month and half ago i go to the dentist...you know the normal cleaning...well they tell me they need to take out two of my old fillings and replace them...ok no big deal!! So off i go to the special little room and get the gas, two shots, and this awful numbing agent...it tasted like a strong cough drop...disgusting!! So that day everything went well...or so i thought....a few days later my tooth is hurting so bad, i cant eat on the left side of my mouth and i can hardly bite down. I call my dentist make yet another appointment cause he needs to fix my problem! So here i go back to the special little room , get the numbing agent, NO GAS, and one shot, 15 minutes later the one shot is not enough....get another....15 mintues later we are finally in business...so here we go the dentist shaving away some of my filling, he thinks that it is high on one side! So i leave thinking that all is going to be well in my mouths world!! A few days later it is better but not 100% better! So i decide that im gonna give it a little while...maybe it just needs a week or so! well last week it still wasnt better so i call my dentist one more time and have an appointment today! and i swear if my mouth is not better after this visit, i think i might flip out! I have never had problems with my teeth...i havent had a cavity in at least 8 years if not longer and i have NEVER had a problem with fillings, so im just a little irriaited with the fact that i have to go visit him yet again! so wish me good luck today....i would really hate to be rude to the man that is the deciding factor if i can eat on my left side! :)

April Fools #1

I HATE April fools day!!  It is one of those holidays that could go away and i wouldnt care!  And yes it is a holiday to some people...some people go to extremes to make sure that their april fools is the best...i mean planing and everything!  Now I am already a gullible person to begin with and so this day can become very stressful to me!! I have already at 9:18 this morning had a dear friend of mine tell me that her and her husband are getting divorce! My heart fell to my stomach!  Then a few minutes later she tells me "April Fools"  Talk about a huge range of emotions in a few minutes span!!  lets just hope that there arent anymore today!! but if there are ill be sure to post!

OMG its Gonna beNUTS

This whole buying a house thing is really kind of scary..its like ok now your a grown up, like you have responsibilities, you cant mess up, which to me is really kinda scary!!  Please say a prayer for us!!  Inspections went really well and everything is just making its way… we close April 24th, a few days after our 1 year anniversary!!  Its like we are hitting all of these huge milestones in our lives at the same time!! And its going to be a wonderful and stressful!!  In a weeks time we have to close on our house, pack for vacation, be in LR friday night and leave for vacation two days later!! Im hoping that i can be very proactive in this whole unpacking thing and get it all done….either that or im gonna ask if my mom will come help…they are suppose to come help us move so i might convince them to stay and unpack while im at work!!  help with the stress a little!!  hopefully all will work out!!! Wish me luck!!!

PACKING

Packing will become the death of me....we dont close on the house for a little while but boy do we have a lot of stuff...so i decided that i was gonna start packing...make it very organized so that when we were unloading everyone would know exactly which room stuff belonged!  i dont want us to be the people that wait til the last minute and just throw everything into box and you end up having to unpack EVERYTHING just to find one thing that you need!  so everything will be labeled and organized! call me crazy but some things you gotta take time with!  but since i have decided to do it this way...it really will be the death of me!  But im hoping that in the big picture i will be happy in the end that i just had to be so difficult!  

I also have decided that if Jeremy and I havent used/worn something in the past year it will either (a) be given away to someone who wants/needs it (b) given to goodwill (c) thrown away...i refuse to bring stuff into our home that we never wear or use....no sense of keeping it around.....and this has become a wonderful way to spring clean!!  :)

Who is a Homeowner?

We are homeowners!! YAY!!! We FINALLY found a house, made an offer saturday, it was accepted monday, and now its inspection time!! I am so excited!! After a year of hunting it has finally came!! I just hope its everything that i wanted!! I can now decorate and make it reflect who Jeremy and I are as a coupling and "nesting" can finally begin!! YAY!!

The BEST Potato Soup EVER!!

A year ago around christmas my mom bought we a cook book that has only award winning recipes! With the weather being how it is is thought i would try out one of the soups....im glad i did because this really is the best potato soup i have ever had!! Try it out next time its cold...it is wonderful!!!

6 bacon strips
1 can ( 14.5 oz) chicken broth
3 cups cubed peeled potatoes
1 small carrot grated
1 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
½ teaspoon of celery seed
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups of milk
8 ounces process American Cheese, cubed


In a large saucepan, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Using a slotted spoon, remove to paper towels; drain. Add the broth, vegetables and seasons. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Combine flour and milk until smooth; add to soup. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add cheese; stir until cheese is melted and the soup is heated through. Garnish with green onions if desired

FINALLY SUCCESS!!

i have quit smoking....it has taken alot of work but i have done it!! Jeremy and i have thought about trying for kids, after we find a house (which is alot harder than you would think, here is wonderful camden ar) , and get settled! We didnt want to attempt anything until i had quit smoking!! And now that the taxes have gone up on them, I am even more excited!!! I just think about all the money that i am saving and that we might have a kid in the near future!! Now our next task...finding a home!! We have been looking for the past year....yes you read correct a year!! It really is hard down here to find a home that is 1. not so outdated that you want to vomit 2. is actually worth what they are asking 3. in a good neighborhood for kids ( that we will have someday)

what really gets me about the whole house buying thing is that we have the money to buy but hell there isnt a house out there! i mean we are newlyweds and cant afford a 300,000 home!! But we would like something nice.....not a shack!! ugh....hopefully all works out

Lindsey Bosche'

Lindsey Bosche' is coming into town this weekend and I couldnt be more excited! She is one of my best friends and i love her dearly! I havent seen her since my wedding and this reunion is much needed!! I cant wait!!!

ROSCO'S COMPLICATIONS

It's been 4 days since rosco has had his surgery and his leg is healing just fine!! BUT there is another part of him that isnt doing so hot! Now for somepeople this might be funny(even to me) but to him it is TOTALLY not funny! His testicles are swollen..and when i say swollen i mean SWOLLEN!! i tried to put some medication on them last night to maybe give him some relief and he ran from me and sat down!! looking up at me like "please dont do that again" but no fear he is going to the vet today to repair this problem!!

Rosco

Jeremy and I do not have any kids yet...we have a dog....Rosco!! I love this dog so much!! He is my little pride and joy! He is one of the most well mannered dogs i have ever seen!! Im not predjuice just cause he is my dog but he really is..all my friends say so! But sunday he came home after playing outside for a couple of hours and he has a big boo boo! i mean he has a 4 inch gash and a puncher hole on his back left leg! im freaking out here...my baby is hurt! so i proceed to call the vet and end up having to wait 2.5 hours for her to get out of church for her to see my baby!! so she calls us to tell us that we can bring him in to see her and off we go! When we get to the vet she informs us that he needs to have surgery!! SURGERY! i freaked out for a minute but what has to be done has to be done!! So he comes home after surgery and he is very "drunk" and he follows me everywhere cause he needs some tlc!! Hope all goes well!!

bachlor disappointment

so i dont know about yall but im a little disappointed with the bachelor.....Deanna if you recall from the first episode was suppose to come back during this years show.......several weeks later she has still not arrived and im starting to get a little irriated.... i want the drama of it all and i havent gotten it yet!!! i want to see what jason will decide and what he will say!!!! so i dont know about yall but i would really appreciate if she would come back already!!

Im such a bad blogger....im really gonna have to get better at this whole thing!!! So this is what is going on this weekend!!

A friend of the family for what seems to be my entire life is having a surprise birthday party and i cant wait!! It is casino themed!! Im so excited to not only visit with her but be there to celebrate her birthday!! I LOVE SURPRISES!!!

This weekend is the big buck classic!! Jeremy is just too excited because he is getting his deer back ( yes the one that just HAD to be mounted) and he has decided that he is going to enter it into the contest!!! Oh help me!!! what on earth am i to do!!! Which means that the deer has to come home with us on sunday........ugh....we still havent "agreed" on where that thing should go....ill let you know which one compromises!!!!

Egypt

Well my Mom has offically arrived in Egypt! She left early yesterday morning and didnt get there till late last night/this morning. She decided to take a trip with a girlfriend from college!! I think its so cool that she still hangs out with her buddies from college!! I hope that when i am her age that me and my college friends still get together and take trips!! She recently retired from teaching kindergarden! She is only 53 and already retired!! I hope that i get to retire that early as welL!! But Im so excited that she is finally getting to travel the world like she has always wanted to do!!! Im totally jealous and cant wait for her to get back home to tell me all about it!!! Im sure she will have tons of pictures for me to post!!!

PS...the burn still hurts :(

lesson learned!

So last night i get home from work, do my usual workout, and then off i go to iron mine and jeremys clothes!! I get through ALL of my clothes and 3 of Jeremys shirts! and all of a sudden OUCH OUCH OUCH!!! The steam from the iron has done burned my wrist!!!

Now i know it probably doesnt look like much but boy does it hurt!!! Now i do not know what to do with a steam burn!!! ANY suggestions would be great!!! Now i know NOT to get too close to the iron cause the results are not good!! Good Lesson Learned!!!
